At Third Serve, our mission is to introduce tennis to children in the Charleston area while fostering an environment that facilitates growth on and off the court.
How We Serve
Third Serve's mission is to grow a multi faceted organization Serving our community in the following ways:
Supply free tennis to underserved youth across Charleston;
Educate our athletes through Tennis and Learning
Raise funds necessary to curate quality after-school programming
Vie for advanced education and training opportunities
Encourage valuable life skills implemented on and off the court.
Who We Are
Third Serve Foundation is a non-profit, 501 (c)(3) after-school tennis organization based in Charleston, South Carolina. Founded in 2021 originally partnering with just one local elementary school, Third Serve's impact now ranges across 5+ schools including pre-kindergarten through middle school students in Charleston county and is continuing to grow.
Our goal is to enrich local students' lives through tennis by providing the fundamental training and environment they may otherwise dispossess.
As a recognized chapter of the USTA Foundation's National Junior Tennis and Learning Association, Third Serve curate's an accessible, blended athletic and educational experience with enriching NJTL curriculum and personalized professional tennis instruction.
Programs
Third Serve Foundation offers multiple no-cost tennis programs for students ages 4 to 13 across the greater Charleston area, conducted throughout the school year and summer. Programs include weekly tennis clinics, educational curriculum, events, and competitive opportunities for students and families. Our Kiawah Island based elementary program with E.L Frierson of Wadmalaw is open to registration for primary aged students outside of our Frierson partnership. Read more and get registered below!
